Mini funding for the essentials
Wednesday, April 30th, 2008In the last few days I’ve begun working on a couple of small to medium PHP related projects, each requiring a few days of work. I will use the money from these to get a few essentials up and running, namely business cards.
I’m going to try out http://thelogocompany.net/ to get a logo, stationary and business cards designed. I’ve already met some people and regrettably I didn’t have business cards to give to them so they might contact me or refer other people to me. Who knows what opportunity’s I might have missed already.
I found out about this company from someone at Open Coffee early on in Luigi Malones in Cork. It’s taken me this long to act on it. I remember someone there had cards designed by this company and they looked damn good.
I’ll contact them today and get the ball rolling. Hopefully they’ll be able to design some cool stuff. I’ll post the results here.
I’m also interested in becoming a member of groups such as BNI, Cork Chambers of Commerce, Irish Internet Association. I’ll look into their costs but the business cards come first.
